Tunisia and the Netherlands face off on the third and final matchday of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup. The match will take place at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, United States. Tunisia are virtually out of the tournament after losing their first two matches by heavy margins and having a goal difference of minus eight. Not even a change of manager has prevented Tunisia’s collapse; barring a miracle, they are out.

The Netherlands, for their part, are level with Japan at the top of Group F. The Europeans are top on goal difference, having scored one more goal, but first place may well be decided by goal difference. That said, Japan face Sweden, and all the signs suggest that Ronald Koeman’s side have an easier task against Tunisia to secure a better result.

‘Final score’ prediction

Despite having things well under control, the Dutch side do not want to take their foot off the gas and will be aiming for top spot in the group with a view to securing more favourable fixtures in the round of 32. The fact is that Tunisia have looked very weak in defence and it will be difficult for them to rectify all their mistakes ahead of this match. In this context, I believe the Netherlands will win the match.

Netherlands to win – Odds 1.15

‘Handicap result’ prediction

Given the weakness shown by Tunisia in their two matches so far – in which they have conceded nine goals and lost both by a four-goal margin – it seems unlikely that the Netherlands will not thrash the African side. Ronald Koeman’s side have demonstrated their ability to score, and when the opposition fail to defend properly, they can be devastating in the opposition’s box. For this reason, a Netherlands win with a -2.25 handicap is very appealing.

Netherlands handicap -2.25 – Odds 2.14

‘Create Bet’ Prediction

As for placing the bet, we’re going to combine two options. Firstly, the aforementioned Netherlands win. Secondly, that there will be over 3.5 goals in the match. Bearing in mind that Tunisia have averaged five goals per match, just like the Netherlands, it’s not out of the question to see a high-scoring encounter.

Netherlands to win + Over 3.5 goals – Odds 2.25
