General information and licences

Quickbet Sportsbook Homepage Irelande pcQuickbet Sportsbook Homepage UK mobile version

Quickbet is licensed and regulated, which is something we always check when reviewing a bookmaker, as the licence is what assures us that the bookmaker is safe. Quickbet is licensed by two regulatory bodies, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).

The bookmaker is owned by L&L Europe Ltd, based in Mosta (Malta), which is also responsible for operating the site. This company is authorised by the MGA under licence number MGA/B2C/211/2011 and is also licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (No. 38758) to operate with players residing in Great Britain and Ireland.

Quickbet is an easy-to-use online bookmaker and casino. Having tried it out, I realised that it works well for both experienced players and those just starting out.

It is a straightforward and accessible bookmaker, with a fairly varied offering designed for different types of players. Throughout this review, we will take a closer look at how the bookmaker works, what it offers and how it compares to other bookmakers.

Promotions at Quick Bet

My impression of Quickbet’s bonuses section is that it is quite similar to that of many other online bookmakers.

It offers a somewhat limited variety and the terms and conditions are similar to those on other sites; there are relatively high wagering requirements, some events cannot be used with the bonuses, and there are restrictions in place to prevent abuse.

It’s worth noting that the bonuses are valid for 30 days, which is plenty of time to meet the requirements.

Quick Bet Welcome Bonus

One of the first things I looked at was the welcome bonus. They offer a fairly standard promotion: Bet £10 and get £10 in free bets. It isn’t the biggest bonus we’ve seen (there are bookmakers offering higher amounts), but it is one of the easiest to understand and take advantage of, as it doesn’t have overly complicated requirements.

Compared to other bookmakers, we usually quite like this type of promotion because we don’t have to bet large amounts to unlock the bonus, nor meet complicated wagering requirements; you simply place an initial bet and, once it’s settled, you receive the free bet.

In our case, the process for getting the free bet was quite straightforward; I followed these steps:

  1. I registered on the website as a new user.
  2. I made an initial deposit of at least £10.
  3. I activated the welcome promotion when making the deposit.
  4. I placed my first sports bet of £10 at odds of 2.00 or higher.
  5. I waited for the bet to settle.
  6. I received the £10 free bet in my account.

Something to bear in mind is that the free bet comes with certain conditions; for example, it must be used on bets with minimum odds of 2.00 and usually expires within 24 hours, so you need to use it quickly. Furthermore, as is the case with almost all free bets, only the winnings are retained, not the value of the free bet itself.

Does Quick Bet offer a no-deposit bonus or free bets?

When I was checking the Quickbet promotions section, I didn’t find any active no-deposit bonuses at the time. But I did see a message on the page announcing “free bets coming soon”.

In that notice, the bookmaker indicated that they would soon be launching a free bets promotion and recommended that users subscribe to sports promotions so as not to miss out on the offer when it became available.

Although I was unable to use these free bets when I tested the website, all that remains is to subscribe and wait for this promotion to be activated when it becomes available.

Current promotions

During the time I was testing Quickbet, the range of active promotions was quite limited. I basically only found two main promotions available: the welcome bonus for new players and a special football promotion focused on the Premier League.

Compared to other bookmakers, where you can usually find several active promotions at the same time (free bets, weekly challenges, promotions for different leagues or sports, etc.), Quickbet falls a bit short in this regard. It doesn’t mean that the promotions they do have aren’t good, but there could be more variety.

Event-specific offers

One of the event-specific promotions I tried was focused on Premier League matches, and I found it quite interesting because it’s very easy to use and is activated directly when placing the bet.

The main promotion was for enhanced odds on Premier League matches. Whilst browsing the fixtures for this competition, I noticed that some markets were already showing enhanced odds within the match itself. To take advantage of it, I didn’t have to do anything special; I simply chose the match and placed my bet as I normally would. I found this an advantage over other bookmakers where you sometimes have to register for the promotion or enter a code before you can use it.

Another advantage of this promotion is that it also includes the ‘Goalless Draw’ feature. If you place a bet on certain markets and the match ends 0-0, the bookmaker refunds your stake. Personally, I thought this was a good idea, because a 0-0 draw is often one of the most frustrating results when betting on football, especially in a league as attacking as the Premier League.

Exclusive mobile bonuses

Looking through Quickbet’s promotions section, I didn’t find any exclusive offers for users betting on mobile. All available promotions, such as the welcome bonus or the Premier League-related football promotion, can be used on a computer, phone or tablet.

At other bookmakers, it’s quite common to find special promotions for the app or for those betting on mobile, such as additional free bets or small extra bonuses. In Quickbet’s case, at least for now, there don’t seem to be any such offers.

Loyalty Club / VIP

I also couldn’t find a loyalty club or rewards programme for regular players; there is no points system, levels or rewards that you accumulate as you bet or play frequently.

Many bookmakers and online casinos usually have some sort of VIP programme or loyalty club, where you can level up, receive exclusive bonuses, free bets or even perks such as faster withdrawals.

This is another area where the site falls a little short when compared to other operators that do have loyalty clubs.

Important information about the Quick Bet bonus

Bonuses have wagering requirements; first, you must wager a total of 40 times the bonus amount.

For example, if you receive £100, you would need to wager £4,000 in total to be able to withdraw the bonus. This is fairly standard, although some bookmakers offer lower requirements, so in comparison, Quickbet is about average for the market.

Bonuses have a limit of £5 per bet whilst they are active, and are valid for 30 days. You can also opt out of receiving bonuses if you prefer to play with your own money, and promotions such as cashback are still available even if you don’t take up the offer.

Registration and security

Something we tend to look at closely when reviewing bookmakers is how straightforward the registration process is, as it can be quite lengthy at some bookmakers. In this case, the truth is that we found the process to be quite quick and similar to what most bookmakers offer.

There aren’t too many steps; from the homepage, you simply need to click the ‘Register’ button and fill in the basic details. It took a couple of minutes, and these were the steps we followed:

  1. Click on the ‘Register’ button on the homepage.
  2. We entered our personal details (name, date of birth, etc.).
  3. Email address and phone number.
  4. We filled in our address and chose the account currency.
  5. We confirmed that we had read and accepted the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
  6. We completed the registration and were able to access the account.
Quickbet Casino Ireland RegistrationQuickbet Casino Ireland Registration mobile

It wasn’t particularly long or particularly short, but it was quite straightforward. We didn’t encounter any confusing steps or lengthy forms, something that does happen at some bookmakers.

Quickbet only allows one account per user, which is also standard practice among bookmakers to prevent abuse of bonuses or promotions.

Quick Bet sports and markets

We found Quickbet’s sports section to be quite comprehensive. In total, they offer 32 different sports to bet on, which is quite good. We wouldn’t say it’s the largest selection we’ve seen, as there are very large operators with more categories, but the variety is more than enough for most players.

Football is clearly the main sport; we found plenty of matches from major competitions such as the Premier League and the Champions League. Beyond football, there are also the more common sports – tennis, basketball, golf, baseball, rugby, boxing, MMA and American football – as well as some sports that don’t always feature at every bookmaker, such as table tennis, snooker, darts, badminton and water polo.

One thing we really liked is that they offer e-sports; it’s becoming more common, but it’s still a plus because not all bookmakers offer it. They also have special events, which aren’t sports as such, but rather bets on politics, television, awards or things unrelated to sporting competitions.

We spotted a few categories that surprised us a bit as we don’t usually see them that often, such as floorball, curling, biathlon, Gaelic football, Gaelic hurling or lacrosse. They aren’t hugely popular sports, but it’s good that they’re available so you can try new things.

Betting tools

QuickBet has several tools that make betting easy and convenient, which I like because not all bookmakers offer such a comprehensive range. The main ones are:

  • Search: to quickly find the match, player or competition you’re interested in without having to browse the whole website. I find it really handy, especially compared to other bookmakers where it can sometimes be a bit of a nightmare to find what you’re looking for.
  • Betslip: This is where all your bets are collected before you confirm them. I like it because you can clearly see your potential winnings and adjust your bets before submitting them – something many bookmakers do, but QuickBet displays it very clearly.
  • BetMentor: This tool gives you betting recommendations and tips based on statistics and data. I find it particularly useful if you’re not very familiar with a sport or want to confirm your strategy.
  • Cashout: This allows you to settle a bet before the event ends to secure winnings or limit losses.
  • Streaming: You can watch matches live whilst betting, which makes following the game much more exciting.
  • Live statistics: Displays match data in real time, such as possession, shots, goals, etc. It’s ideal for making more informed bets and comparing with other bookmakers.

Live betting and streaming

Quickbet Sports Ireland Live betting pcQuickbet Casino Ireland Live betting
My experience with QuickBet’s live betting has been quite positive and, overall, I found it more comprehensive than I expected.

The first thing I want to highlight is that QuickBet offers live streaming, which makes a huge difference to the experience. I was able to watch several football matches whilst betting, and that meant my decisions were quicker and based on what was actually happening on the pitch. Having live streaming is something not all bookmakers include, and I personally value it enormously because it saves me from having to switch screens or use another app.

What’s more, the bookmaker has dedicated screens for live betting: you can watch the match, see the odds changing in real time, and right next to them all the betting options. I found it very convenient, because everything is in one place and you don’t have to open a thousand tabs to check statistics or partial results.

The live statistics shown during matches are quite useful – possession, shots, corners, cards and other key figures that help you make informed decisions in real time. Compared to other bookmakers where these statistics are sometimes limited or unclear, here I found them quite comprehensive and easy to interpret.

For example, in a Premier League match I followed recently, the odds were changing in line with the flow of the game, and thanks to the statistics I could see that one team was clearly dominating possession and shots on goal, so I decided to bet on a half-time result which ended up being a winner.

Another point I like is that the live betting interface is very stable and fast, with no annoying delays when switching markets or selecting betting options. At other larger bookmakers, you sometimes notice lag or have to wait for the odds to update, but at QuickBet the experience was quite smooth.

Odds and margin

In many cases, I found the odds to be quite competitive compared to other bookmakers. I’m not saying they always have the best odds on the market, because there are operators specialising in extremely high prices, but I will say that for football, tennis or basketball, they usually pay out very well.

For example, in a Premier League match I was analysing, QuickBet’s odds for the final result were on a par with, or even slightly better than, those at the major bookmakers I usually use, and this wasn’t an isolated incident; several of the live bets I placed also had tight margins.

Another thing that caught my attention is that in less common or secondary markets, such as certain goal props or match statistics, the odds were also quite attractive, which isn’t always the case with other bookmakers, where they’re sometimes only competitive in the main markets.

Looking for reviews from other users, I found comments from people who also highlighted this point.

Payment methods at Quick Bet

Having made deposits and withdrawals, we can say that this section is quite well organised and is similar to modern bookmakers, offering various well-known methods, fast transactions and no fees charged by the bookmaker.

Quickbet offers several payment options: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Trustly (Pay by Bank), Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer.

When we made our first deposit, we found it quite easy; here’s what we did:

  1. Go to the deposits section within the account.
  2. Choose the payment method we wanted to use.
  3. Enter the deposit amount.
  4. Confirm the transaction.

The minimum deposit is £10, which is standard, and the maximum is £2,500 per transaction, although this may vary depending on the payment method. In our case, the money was credited almost instantly, which is normal with methods such as PayPal, cards or Apple Pay.

One positive aspect is that Quickbet doesn’t charge any fees for deposits or withdrawals, which is always worth checking as some bookmakers do apply hidden charges depending on the payment method.

Making withdrawals was also quite straightforward; we had to use the same method we used to deposit, for security and fraud prevention reasons.

Withdrawals are instant once the account is verified. In our case, the system processed the request within an hour, which is quite good compared to other bookmakers that can take longer to review requests.

Quick Bet Mobile App / Mobile Version

Testing the Quick Bet app was quick; it takes less than two minutes to install and the initial setup is super simple. On Android, I just had to download the APK from their website and allow installation from trusted sources, and on iOS it was ready in a couple of clicks.

When I opened it and logged in, my entire balance and bonuses synced instantly, which I found a very handy feature.

What I liked most about the app is that you have full access to everything, and it’s optimised for mobile. It works perfectly on 4G or 5G without using up too much data, supports biometric login, and withdrawals are quick. Plus, you receive notifications about bonuses and personalised offers, which means you’re always up to date with promotions without having to visit the website.

Customer service

After trying out the bookmaker for a while, we wanted to check how Quickbet’s customer service worked, which is quite important for any bookmaker.

Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers three main contact channels:

We tried the live chat, which is usually the quickest option. The response was quite prompt; within a few minutes we were already speaking to an agent, something we really appreciate as at some bookmakers we end up waiting quite a long time in a queue. The agent replied clearly and directly, without beating about the bush, which is exactly what we look for when we have a query.

The FAQ section is quite well organised and answers many basic queries about registration, payments or bonuses. In fact, for simple questions, you probably won’t even need to contact support.

Responsible gaming

The casino has a dedicated responsible gaming team that may contact players if they detect certain patterns of activity that could be cause for concern. For example, they may write to you to ask how you feel about your current level of play or whether you have set a budget for gambling.

Another thing they may do is activate certain controls if they detect unusual activity, such as numerous deposits in a short space of time or changes in gambling behaviour. In such cases, the team may contact you or even request additional documentation to verify that everything is within normal limits. It can be a bit of a nuisance at times, but it is part of the regulations that licensed bookmakers must comply with.

Quick Bet Casino Review in Ireland

Quickbet Casino Ireland Homepage pcQuickbet Casino Ireland Homepage

Casino games

I found trying out the casino games at Quickbet very entertaining. I was particularly impressed by the selection of slots from providers such as NetEnt and Blueprint, where I played a bit of Starburst, which I’ve always liked for its graphics and simplicity. I also tried Mega Moolah, which is one of their progressive jackpot games; although I didn’t win the jackpot, it was fun.

Live Casino

I also found the live casino to be quite good. I was able to play roulette and blackjack with real dealers. Compared to other online bookmakers, I’d say Quickbet holds its own; the variety of providers and games is extensive, although some larger casinos offer even more titles and some exclusives that aren’t available here. Even so, I liked that Quickbet combines slots, casual games and live casino all in one place.

Casino Promotions

Quickbet has a pretty good promotion for new players; you can get 100 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza by making a deposit and wagering at least £10, or alternatively, wager £10 and receive £10 in free bets.

What I liked about this offer is that the free spins are converted directly into real money and there is no maximum withdrawal limit. The spins expire in 48 hours, so you need to use them quickly. Another thing to bear in mind is that not all payment methods are eligible; for example, Skrill is excluded.

Additional casino features

Quickbet offers video poker; when I tried the game, I found it very intuitive and the animations were great. Plus, you can practise without real money at first, which helps you understand the combinations and strategies.

BetBrothers’ review of Quick Bet

In my opinion, Quickbet is an online bookmaker and casino that conveys a sense of security and transparency, thanks to its licences. The website is very user-friendly, with a quick and hassle-free registration process, and works intuitively for both beginners and experienced players. I like that it offers a good variety of sports, including less common options and e-sports. The live betting and live streaming section makes it easier to make decisions thanks to real-time statistics. The payment methods are modern and reliable, with fast, commission-free deposits and withdrawals, something I really value. I also find the mobile app very practical, comprehensive and smooth, with all the website’s features and promotional notifications. The bonuses, although not very numerous, are easy to understand and take advantage of, especially for those just starting out. Customer service works very well, with quick and clear responses.
