In this in-depth review of Quick Bet Ireland, we’ve tested the bookmaker for you to see how it works, what sports it offers and whether it’s really worth signing up.
Quickbet is licensed and regulated, which is something we always check when reviewing a bookmaker, as the licence is what assures us that the bookmaker is safe. Quickbet is licensed by two regulatory bodies, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).
Quickbet is an easy-to-use online bookmaker and casino. Having tried it out, I realised that it works well for both experienced players and those just starting out.

My impression of Quickbet’s bonuses section is that it is quite similar to that of many other online bookmakers.
It offers a somewhat limited variety and the terms and conditions are similar to those on other sites; there are relatively high wagering requirements, some events cannot be used with the bonuses, and there are restrictions in place to prevent abuse.
It’s worth noting that the bonuses are valid for 30 days, which is plenty of time to meet the requirements.
Compared to other bookmakers, we usually quite like this type of promotion because we don’t have to bet large amounts to unlock the bonus, nor meet complicated wagering requirements; you simply place an initial bet and, once it’s settled, you receive the free bet.

Something to bear in mind is that the free bet comes with certain conditions; for example, it must be used on bets with minimum odds of 2.00 and usually expires within 24 hours, so you need to use it quickly. Furthermore, as is the case with almost all free bets, only the winnings are retained, not the value of the free bet itself.
When I was checking the Quickbet promotions section, I didn’t find any active no-deposit bonuses at the time. But I did see a message on the page announcing “free bets coming soon”.
In that notice, the bookmaker indicated that they would soon be launching a free bets promotion and recommended that users subscribe to sports promotions so as not to miss out on the offer when it became available.
Although I was unable to use these free bets when I tested the website, all that remains is to subscribe and wait for this promotion to be activated when it becomes available.
During the time I was testing Quickbet, the range of active promotions was quite limited. I basically only found two main promotions available: the welcome bonus for new players and a special football promotion focused on the Premier League.
Compared to other bookmakers, where you can usually find several active promotions at the same time (free bets, weekly challenges, promotions for different leagues or sports, etc.), Quickbet falls a bit short in this regard. It doesn’t mean that the promotions they do have aren’t good, but there could be more variety.
One of the event-specific promotions I tried was focused on Premier League matches, and I found it quite interesting because it’s very easy to use and is activated directly when placing the bet.
The main promotion was for enhanced odds on Premier League matches. Whilst browsing the fixtures for this competition, I noticed that some markets were already showing enhanced odds within the match itself. To take advantage of it, I didn’t have to do anything special; I simply chose the match and placed my bet as I normally would. I found this an advantage over other bookmakers where you sometimes have to register for the promotion or enter a code before you can use it.
Another advantage of this promotion is that it also includes the ‘Goalless Draw’ feature. If you place a bet on certain markets and the match ends 0-0, the bookmaker refunds your stake. Personally, I thought this was a good idea, because a 0-0 draw is often one of the most frustrating results when betting on football, especially in a league as attacking as the Premier League.
Looking through Quickbet’s promotions section, I didn’t find any exclusive offers for users betting on mobile. All available promotions, such as the welcome bonus or the Premier League-related football promotion, can be used on a computer, phone or tablet.
At other bookmakers, it’s quite common to find special promotions for the app or for those betting on mobile, such as additional free bets or small extra bonuses. In Quickbet’s case, at least for now, there don’t seem to be any such offers.
I also couldn’t find a loyalty club or rewards programme for regular players; there is no points system, levels or rewards that you accumulate as you bet or play frequently.
Many bookmakers and online casinos usually have some sort of VIP programme or loyalty club, where you can level up, receive exclusive bonuses, free bets or even perks such as faster withdrawals.
This is another area where the site falls a little short when compared to other operators that do have loyalty clubs.
For example, if you receive £100, you would need to wager £4,000 in total to be able to withdraw the bonus. This is fairly standard, although some bookmakers offer lower requirements, so in comparison, Quickbet is about average for the market.
Bonuses have a limit of £5 per bet whilst they are active, and are valid for 30 days. You can also opt out of receiving bonuses if you prefer to play with your own money, and promotions such as cashback are still available even if you don’t take up the offer.
Something we tend to look at closely when reviewing bookmakers is how straightforward the registration process is, as it can be quite lengthy at some bookmakers. In this case, the truth is that we found the process to be quite quick and similar to what most bookmakers offer.

It wasn’t particularly long or particularly short, but it was quite straightforward. We didn’t encounter any confusing steps or lengthy forms, something that does happen at some bookmakers.

Football is clearly the main sport; we found plenty of matches from major competitions such as the Premier League and the Champions League. Beyond football, there are also the more common sports – tennis, basketball, golf, baseball, rugby, boxing, MMA and American football – as well as some sports that don’t always feature at every bookmaker, such as table tennis, snooker, darts, badminton and water polo.
One thing we really liked is that they offer e-sports; it’s becoming more common, but it’s still a plus because not all bookmakers offer it. They also have special events, which aren’t sports as such, but rather bets on politics, television, awards or things unrelated to sporting competitions.
We spotted a few categories that surprised us a bit as we don’t usually see them that often, such as floorball, curling, biathlon, Gaelic football, Gaelic hurling or lacrosse. They aren’t hugely popular sports, but it’s good that they’re available so you can try new things.

The first thing I want to highlight is that QuickBet offers live streaming, which makes a huge difference to the experience. I was able to watch several football matches whilst betting, and that meant my decisions were quicker and based on what was actually happening on the pitch. Having live streaming is something not all bookmakers include, and I personally value it enormously because it saves me from having to switch screens or use another app.
What’s more, the bookmaker has dedicated screens for live betting: you can watch the match, see the odds changing in real time, and right next to them all the betting options. Compared to other bookmakers where these statistics are sometimes limited or unclear, here I found them quite comprehensive and easy to interpret.
For example, in a Premier League match I followed recently, the odds were changing in line with the flow of the game, and thanks to the statistics I could see that one team was clearly dominating possession and shots on goal, so I decided to bet on a half-time result which ended up being a winner.
Another point I like is that the live betting interface is very stable and fast, with no annoying delays when switching markets or selecting betting options. At other larger bookmakers, you sometimes notice lag or have to wait for the odds to update, but at QuickBet the experience was quite smooth.
In many cases, I found the odds to be quite competitive compared to other bookmakers. I’m not saying they always have the best odds on the market, because there are operators specialising in extremely high prices, but I will say that for football, tennis or basketball, they usually pay out very well.
For example, in a Premier League match I was analysing, QuickBet’s odds for the final result were on a par with, or even slightly better than, those at the major bookmakers I usually use, and this wasn’t an isolated incident; several of the live bets I placed also had tight margins.
Another thing that caught my attention is that in less common or secondary markets, such as certain goal props or match statistics, the odds were also quite attractive, which isn’t always the case with other bookmakers, where they’re sometimes only competitive in the main markets.
Looking for reviews from other users, I found comments from people who also highlighted this point.
Having made deposits and withdrawals, we can say that this section is quite well organised and is similar to modern bookmakers, offering various well-known methods, fast transactions and no fees charged by the bookmaker.
