LiveScore Bet VAR Payout: Get Paid if VAR Rules Out Your Player’s Goal
LiveScore Bet Ireland’s VAR Payout promotion gives football bettors extra protection on selected player markets in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League proper.
If you back an eligible player and that player scores a goal which is subsequently disallowed by VAR, LiveScore Bet will settle the qualifying selection as a winner in cash, even though the goal does not count in the official match result.
The offer applies to selected singles, multiples and Bet Builder wagers.

How does the LiveScore Bet VAR Payout work?
To qualify, place an eligible bet on a player in a Premier League or UEFA Champions League proper match.
If your selected player puts the ball in the net and the goal is then overturned following a VAR review, LiveScore Bet will treat that qualifying selection as successful.
This means you can still receive a winning settlement even though the disallowed goal does not appear on the final scoresheet.
For multiples and Bet Builders, only the affected qualifying leg is marked as a winner. The remaining selections must still settle in the usual way.
Which markets qualify?
LiveScore Bet includes several player markets in the promotion:
- First Goalscorer
- Anytime Goalscorer
- Player to score 2, 3 or 4+ goals
- To Score or Assist
- To Score or Get a Card
- To Have a Shot
- To Have a Shot on Target
There is an important condition attached to several of these markets.
For To Score or Assist, To Score or Get a Card, To Have a Shot and To Have a Shot on Target, the VAR payout only applies when the player actually scores a goal that is subsequently disallowed.
Simply registering an assist, receiving a card or taking a shot is not enough to trigger the promotion.
Which competitions are covered?
The promotion is limited to:
- English Premier League
- UEFA Champions League proper
Qualifying player markets must be offered by LiveScore Bet on the relevant fixture.
The offer does not automatically extend to other domestic competitions, Champions League qualifying rounds or unrelated UEFA competitions unless LiveScore Bet specifically adds them to the promotion.
What happens with multiples and Bet Builders?
The VAR protection can also apply when the qualifying selection forms part of a larger bet.
If a relevant player in a multiple or Bet Builder scores and the goal is disallowed by VAR, that particular selection is treated as won under the promotion.
All other legs remain active and must still meet their own conditions before the overall bet can be settled as a winner.
Is there a wagering requirement?
There is no traditional rollover or playthrough requirement attached to this promotion.
VAR Payout is an enhanced settlement offer rather than a Free Bet or bonus-credit promotion. If the qualifying condition is met, the selection is paid as a cash winner.
There is therefore no additional wagering requirement imposed simply because the VAR promotion was triggered.
When is the payout credited?
Once the qualifying fixture has been settled, LiveScore Bet aims to credit the promotional cash payout within 12 hours.
The operator states that in some circumstances it may take up to 24 hours for the settlement to appear in the account.
How long is the VAR Payout promotion available?
The offer started on 11 August 2025 and is scheduled to continue until further notice.
As there is no fixed closing date, players should check that the VAR Payout promotion and the relevant eligible market are still available before placing a wager.
Terms and conditions of the promotion
The VAR Payout offer is available to LiveScore Bet members who are 18 or over and physically located in the Republic of Ireland when participating.
A qualifying bet must be a single, multiple or Bet Builder placed on one of the selected player markets in an eligible Premier League or UEFA Champions League proper fixture.
The promotion is triggered when the backed player scores a goal that is disallowed following a VAR decision. The relevant selection is then settled in full as a cash winner.
For markets such as To Score or Assist, To Score or Get a Card, To Have a Shot and To Have a Shot on Target, only a disallowed goal can activate the VAR payout. Other parts of those markets do not qualify independently.
Void, cancelled or cashed-out bets are excluded from the promotion.
