Important FaFa Bet bonus information

Users are unable to combine bonus offers, unless explicitly stated in the terms and conditions of that particular promo. The current promotions available do not allow for the combination of any offer.

As an operator with an excellent horse racing facility, we do expect event-specific promotions to be available during the biggest festivals, such as Cheltenham or Grand National. Currently, though, the bonuses available can be used on any Irish or UK horse racing meet.

To stay in the know about upcoming promotions and bonus offers, you can accept marketing notifications either during sign up or via the My Account section. You’ll receive these notifications through email and/or SMS. You can also see all available bonuses via the Promotions tab.

The terms and conditions of FaFa Bet promos are all reasonably easy to meet. The terms are laid out simply, you can find the t’s and c’s when you click on each bonus box.

There are time limits attached to many of the promotions FaFa Bet offers to their users in Ireland. For example, your new customer free bet must be used within 7 days of receipt, otherwise it will be removed from your account.

There are no wagering requirements attached to any offer, with the exception of those bonuses that provide a Casino bonus. For instance, the new customer offer gives a sports free bet, along with a €20 Casino bonus. This specific bonus comes with a 35x wagering requirement.

Sports and Markets at FaFa Bet

There are 33 sports and events available to bet on at FaFa Bet. This number is much smaller than other Irish betting sites we’ve reviewed, but does include horse racing, greyhound racing and football. Irish Premier Division and First Division football is covered, along with Irish horse racing.

There are GAA betting odds available when the football and hurling seasons have begun. Note that GAA odds, along with odds on other sports, won’t be found in the main menu until matches are actually taking place.

While the number of sports available isn’t exactly impressive, the range of tournaments and competitions within most sections is. For example, there’s over 100 football competitions available to bet on, including women’s and youth football, from over 40 different countries.

Similarly, FaFa Bet’s horse racing facility offers odds and markets on races taking place in a variety of countries. In addition to Irish and UK racing, bettors can stake on meets in the USA, Argentina, Japan, Australia and Italy. Major horse racing events, such as the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot, come with odds, markets and event-specific promotions.

Virtual betting is available, along with Politics markets.

Betting Tools

There are a variety of tools available at FaFa Bet that can help you with your betting, particularly for in-play betting. Available on most sports, users can view a real-time graphics display of the action, along with match statistics, head to head records and form guides.

Cash Out is available on eligible bets. Users can request either a Full or Partial Cash Out if this feature is available. To see which bets can be cashed out, click on your Avatar in the top right corner and hit Cash Out.

Live Betting and Streaming

FaFa Bet offer a comprehensive in-play betting facility for users in Ireland. There are live odds available on a range of sports, including football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, cricket and baseball.

Odds can fluctuate dramatically when you bet on live events. As close as possible, odds are updated in real time. It’s likely, though, you’ll come across bet suspensions or delays, which are represented by a padlock icon on the FaFa Bet site. This most often occurs when a major event has happened in a game, such as a goal or point scored, or a red card or wicket taken, while the operator readjusts their prices.

Streaming is available on selected Irish and UK horse and greyhound racing. There isn’t a schedule as such, however if you click on either the horse racing or greyhound racing tab, you’ll see the TV icon next to those races that will be broadcast.

We’re huge fans of the Create-a-bet feature. Unfortunately, though, this feature is only available on pre-match markets.

The FaFa Bet site allows you to create your own Favourites list. Click on the Star icon next to the sport of your choice to do this.

Quotas and Margins

To further delve into what FaFa Bet can offer, we’ve analysed the quality of odds available on three different events. Specifically, we considered the odds on the Irish Premier Division game between Drogheda United and Sligo Rovers, the Rugby Union clash between British and Irish Lions and Argentina, along with the boxing bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois. Take a look at our findings in the table below.

FaFa Bet Mobile App and Mobile Version

FaFa Bet offer a dedicated mobile app available for download on iOS devices. There isn’t an app for Android currently, but the mobile version of the site works very well. It’s extremely user-friendly, designed very well and allows for easy navigation through the site.

If you use the app, you can allow marketing and Push notifications to be sent to your device. These will inform you of new promotions, as well as bet updates. You can choose to accept or reject these types of notifications through the My Account section.

The odds on the mobile app, mobile version and desktop site are the same. No matter which platform you use, there’s no change in odds at all.

All aspects of the desktop site are available using the app or mobile version. In-play betting and live streaming are accessible using your mobile device, as are all promotions and bonus offers. Currently, though, there isn’t a mobile-specific promotion available.

To download the app, visit your App Store.

Customer Support

The Live Chat service is the most frustrating we’ve come across at any Irish betting site. It’s powered by AI, and any question or query we asked was answered with the bot repeatedly telling us they didn’t get it and to try and rephrase our question. There’s only so many ways you can phrase the questions what sports promotions do you offer, or do you offer odds on GAA events. There wasn’t a way we could find that connects you to an actual member of staff either, rendering the live chat service completely useless.

We did have more luck with email. In fact, we received a thorough and knowledgeable reply within 7 minutes of our initial query. If you do need to contact the support team, we recommend using the email facility.

There isn’t a specific FAQ section available, but you can find answers to many queries via the Terms and Conditions tab. Here, you’ll find details of deposits, withdrawals and bonuses, amongst others.

Responsible Gaming

FaFa Bet’s Responsible Gambling sections is incredibly thorough, offering advice, a self-assessment questionnaire and a range of tools their users can use to help them stay in control of their betting. You can find this tab at the bottom of the site.

The site gives you the option to set a Deposit Limit and, if you’re a Casino player, a Casino loss limit.

You can also set a Reality Check timer for up to 60 minutes that will remind you how long you’ve been logged into your account.

In addition, there is a Timeout feature, that allows you to take a break from your account for a period of between 24 hours and 6 weeks. You can also self-exclude by contacting the customer service team.

Also provided is information on how you can block payments to your betting account via your banking provider. There’s also lots of info on support organisations that you can contact for further support.

Your Bet History is easily accessible from the My Account section. You can also view all deposits and withdrawals made from this section.

FaFa Bet betting platform Online Reviews

There are many negative online reviews surrounding FaFa Bet in Ireland. Many complaints are surrounding the verification process and documents not being accepted. While this process can be frustrating, it’s part of the rules and regulations set out by the operator’s licencing authority that they verify every account holder. However, we do agree that customer service can be incredibly annoying to use and verification can take quite a few days to process.

Another complaint we’ve found is that FaFa Bet charge for withdrawals. This isn’t strictly true, there are no withdrawal fees charged by the operator. However, if you make a deposit and initiate a withdrawal without staking more than 50% of this amount, the site may charge you a 5% or €3 minimum charge as a processing fee.

We have also come across complaints about the quality of odds available. Now, we have to say we didn’t come to this conclusion during our research, in fact we’ve been impressed by the competitive odds available at FaFa Bet. As you’ve read in the Quotas and Margins section above, FaFa Bet are better value than many other Irish betting sites we’ve reviewed.

FaFa Bet are yet to win any major industry awards.

Our use of both the desktop site and mobile app was without any interruption or loading delays. The site is very easy to navigate through and provided a smooth and seamless betting experience.

FaFa Bet Casino Ireland Review

In addition to their Sportsbook, FaFa Bet offer a Casino and Live Casino for users in Ireland to play at. The Casino features a ton of slots and games, as well as jackpots, scratchcards and poker, accessible once you’ve created your betting account.

Casino Games

There’s over 1600 casino slots and games available to play at FaFa Bet Ireland. There’s 1300 slots alone, with popular choices like Thunderstruck, 9 Pots of Gold and Masters of Olympus.

Slots and games available here are provided by some of the industry’s most popular names, including the following:

  • Games Global
  • Microgaming
  • Pragmatic Play
  • Booming Games
  • Skywind

As well as their fantastic range of slots, FaFa Bet offer well in excess of 200 table games. Players can choose from blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker and sic bo.

Live Casino

We’re also impressed with FaFa Bet’s Live Casino options. There’s almost 250 live tables players can join, using the desktop site, mobile version or the iOS mobile app.

Options include live blackjack, roulette, sic bo and roulette. There are also a handful of live gameshows that can be joined at any time.

Players can choose to take part in high and low stakes table games, all of which can be accessed via the Live Casino tab.

Casino Promotions

New customers at FaFa Bet can choose to claim the Casino welcome offer, rather than the Sportsbook promo we looked at earlier. This offer can award you with a €50 casino bonus, plus a €5 free bet to use in the Sportsbook.

There are a handful of ongoing casino promos available. Crazy Monday can award players with a 10% bonus boost when you spend €10 on casino games. Lucky Thursday returns 10% of your losses on Live Roulette, with Weekend Insurance giving players 5% of their losses back, up to a maximum of €100.

Each promotion comes with specific terms and conditions attached. Time and stake limits also apply.

Extra Features

All sections of the FaFa Bet Casino facility are nicely laid out, making it easy to find the types of games you want to play. There’s also a Search function available if you’re looking for a specific game.

It’s also possible to create a Favourites list. At the bottom of each specific game, click the Star icon to add your selections to your Favourites.

What BetBrothers.ie thinks about FaFa Bet

There’s some aspects we really like about FaFa Bet, and there’s some aspects that need significant improvement if they want to challenge the big players in Irish betting sites.

We’ll start positively. Odds are generally very good, beating those of their competitors in a number of sports and events. Promotions are plentiful, if you’re a fan of horse racing and football at least. The welcome bonus is also a decent one, allowing you to claim a free bet even if you don’t deposit the full €100. The mobile site for Android devices, while an app would be preferable, works incredibly well – it looks good, loading times are incredibly fast and every aspect of the desktop site is available using your mobile device.

The Responsible Gambling facility is thorough and provides plenty of options for users, which is great to see.

Onto the negatives. There’s many more sports and events available to bet on elsewhere. The Create-a-bet feature is excellent, but only available on pre-match markets. Streaming is only available on horse and greyhound racing, whereas other operators offer many more options. Bettors can only make deposits and withdrawals using Debit Card. Also missing is a VIP Club or other form of Loyalty Program, which would be a nice addition to the Sportsbook.

Our biggest gripe, though, has to be customer service, specifically the Live Chat feature. It’s useless and, if you’re looking for an issue to be resolved quickly, is a very frustrating experience. Email is a much better choice but while our issue was dealt with efficiently, we’ve found reports of other users not being so lucky.

To conclude, FaFa Bet is great in some aspects and awful in others. However, if you’re looking for a simple Irish betting site that offers good odds on a range of sports, including GAA and other Irish events, then FaFa Bet is a decent choice.
